SL-240

Description

SL-240 is non-corrosive multi-purpose PREMIUM GRADE water soluble cutting oil. It has been specially formulated from highly refined mineral oils and special additive package to provide excellent lubricity and stability.
It can reduce the generation of heat removal process, minimize the problem of contamination and safe for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Application and Directions
Specially designed for a variety of professional machining operations, including cutting, automatic screw, sawing, drilling, tapping, threading, milling, high speed tools steels, etc. It can be used as a metal cutting and lubricating oil.
If diluted in water (mix SL-240 into water), a milky white liquid is presented. Do not mix water into SL-240 (incorrect chemistry).
Recommended dilution is 1 part cutting oil to up to 20 parts of water for general cutting (1:20) / (5%) and 1 part cutting to up to 40 parts of water for general grinding (1:40) / (2.5%). Ratio can be increased depending on water quality and level of cutting and grinding action.

STORAGE AND HANDLING:
Proper storage and handling are necessary, particularly emulsifiable oil like SL-240. Store in cool dry place and always keep container closed and tight when not in use to avoid contamination.

USE DILUTION GUIDE:
Grinding : 2% – 5%
Milling, Drilling, Turning : 3% – 5%
Reaming, Taping : 8% – 10%
